FW-250 FRP/GRP Pipe Filament Winding Machine is a highly efficient and intelligent production equipment specially designed for manufacturing fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP/GRP) pipes. It is composed of winding machine, curing machine, repairing and unmolding machine, forming a fully integrated system that ensures smooth operation and high production efficiency.
The control center is an advanced industrial computer made in Taiwan. Once the winding product parameters are entered, the system automatically completes the linearity design, controls the coordinated movements between the mandrel’s rotation speed and the carriage’s travel, and ensures the resin-impregnated roving is evenly laid onto the liner.
This machine delivers pipes that are lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and feature low surface roughness—reducing total project costs while maintaining durability. It is widely used in applications such as cable casing, petrochemical pipelines, and other industrial fluid systems.

Positioning of the Equipment
The individual machines in the FW-250 FRP/GRP Pipe Filament Winding Machine production line will be positioned based on the arrangement of the FRP pipe production line, which includes the winding machine, curing station, repairing machine, and mould unloading machine.
Winding Machine
The winding machine is the core of the entire production line, and its performance and quality directly affect the profitability of the investor. Its main characteristics include:
- A. The menu is displayed in Chinese, with a well-designed interface between the user and the machine. It is easy to operate, and the working conditions can be adjusted freely through the control buttons on the operation panel.
- B. It uses the latest version of winding software developed in-house. The roving arrangement is orderly, the enclosure is complete, and the trolley position is precise. The winding result should form regular rhombuses, checked with a single piece of roving. The software allows flexibility in parameters such as roving sheet width, winding length, and winding diameter without any limitations.
- C. The control system includes hand control, semi-automatic, automatic, emergency brake, limit switch protection, and stepless speed regulation. Stepless speed regulation will not affect the linearity of the winding process.
- D. Four guide wheels are located around the trolley to prevent the trolley from wobbling during operation, ensuring the movement is uniform and steady.
Power and Chain Structure of the Winding Machine
The winding machine’s running power is located on one side of the machine body. The motor drives a reducer that moves the trolley forward through a chain mechanism. The chain’s tension can be adjusted at the tail end of the bed body to accommodate different operational needs.
Multi-Shaft Curing Machine
The multi-shaft curing machine adopts an energy-saving infrared baking board, which is aligned longitudinally with the mould. This configuration ensures steady heating during the curing process. If the indoor temperature exceeds 20°C in winter, the baking board can be powered off to save energy and reduce costs. The baking board is divided into two groups, and only one group is used when winding short pipes.
Repairing Machine
The repairing machine is equipped with a water-spraying device, which helps reduce airborne dust pollution and extends the lifespan of the grinder.
Mould Unloading Machine
The resistance center between the pipe and the mould coincides with the forcing center of the mould-unloading hydraulic container, ensuring proper alignment. The mould-supporting trolley and pipe-supporting trolley use a forklift structure, making it easy to align the mould’s axis with the centre of the mould unloading machine. The large range of support accommodates moulds of varying diameters.
During mould unloading, the initial force required is substantial, provided by the hydraulic container. As the mould is drawn away from the pipe, the force decreases, and the capstan engine is engaged to increase the unloading speed.
